I was born on Taribelang land in Queensland, and grew up on Turrbal Country. I acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which I now live, work, and study. I acknowledge that the land of this country was stolen and that sovereignty was never ceded. I pay my respects to all elders past, present, and emerging.
My current research focuses on South Asian archaeology but I work in Australia on salvage excavations of Aboriginal Cultural Heritage sites.
